Chichi says, “There were over 400 applications for this fellowship. It is the first ever Food Fellowship Program for African FoodPreneurs. Only Eight people were needed. And our company Phronesis Foods made the list. This one is such a big deal. And we’re ready for the opportunities it holds for our company, and grateful for it. Thanks to Changing Narratives Africa team, and to Ndidi Nwuneli.”
This new fellowship by @ChangingNarrativesAfrica / @cn_afri hopes to shine a spotlight on the contributions Africa is making to the global arena.
On their website, they state “We believe that connections made through food are a powerful way to change narratives. We are committed to changing narratives about Africa by celebrating Africa’s contributions to the global food ecosystem, showcasing our innovations and cooking methods, amplifying and scaling proudly African food and beverage brands, and ensuring that more people globally experience the diversity and richness of the Continent’s gastronomic heritage and exciting future.”
